If you look past the mountains, Tyrol has plenty of other things on offer. Just a 20 minute drive from Hotel Jagdhof you will find Innsbruck, Tyrol's state capital. Take a stroll through the Gothic old town with its golden rooftops, Innsbruck's trademark. You also don't want to miss the splendour of the imperial Hofburg and the Tyrol state museum with its unique 360° panoramic view of Tyrol which is shown of the 1,000 m² Tyrol struggle for freedom canvas.

Theatre performances at the Tyrol state theatre and on other smaller stages, various galleries, events such as the Easter festival, the summer dance or the Mountain Christmas offer variety during your spa & active holiday.

Crystal worlds, convents and castles

Wander through the historic salt town of Hall in Tirol (30 km away) with its romantic old town and Hasegg castle. Just 36 km from Hotel Jagdhof you will find the magical Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, in particular the crystal dome, in which you feel like you are at the centre of a crystal. Take a day trip to the Schwaz silver mine (50 km away) where silver and copper was mined over 500 years ago. Brixen (90 km), is just an hour's drive away and is one of the oldest cities in Tyrol with many Baroque buildings and the Neustift monastery are also well worth the visit.
