On the way back, look forward to relaxing in our spacious jSPA where 3,000sqm of wellbeing with luxury, stunning views and unsurpassed privacy await.
Superfun: tobogganing in Stubai
The Stubai Valley is the largest and most varied tobogganing area in Tyrol. It boasts 12 natural toboggan runs with a combined length of 43km, which were awarded the Tiroler Naturrodelbahn hallmark of excellence. In the immediate vicinity of the 5-star Relais & Châteaux SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof, the 6km toboggan run from the Elfer to the centre of Neustift is a favourite of both locals and guests. Its popularity may well be due to the fact that you can reach the start by cable car, which means the toboggan run can be tackled several times in one day. Lifts also offer access to other runs, and there are some – slightly removed from the ski areas – that offer their own toboggan taxis. At the start of every toboggan run you can always be sure of a warm welcome, good food and welcome drinks in a Tyrolean hut. Night tobogganing is a must with four illuminated runs in the Stubai Valley.
Ice skating & curling
Opportunities for practising the most elegant of all winter sports – ice skating – are readily available in the Relais & Châteaux SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof’s vicinity. Even if you lack confidence, you shouldn’t hesitate before heading down to the ice rink in Neustift. No one is born a master and you’ll soon see that with a little practice you can amaze yourself. There is also a covered artificial ice arena in Fulpmes. When the weather is right, two beautiful natural ice rinks invite you to pirouette in Schönberg and Mieders. Curling is popular in Tyrol and throughout Austria and the Relais & Châteaux SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof has its own curling sheet.
