World’s largest gastronomic event: Goût de France

The Hubertus Stube celebrates the beginning of spring

Every year at the beginning of spring on 21 March, the Goût de France/Good France gastronomic event takes place in thousands of gourmet restaurants on every continent. Following a suggestion by France’s embassies, more than 5,000 chefs around the world will be celebrating French culinary art with a tribute to the French cuisine and its timeless values such as delight, healthy food and environment.

Our Hubertus Stube and chef Boris Meyer are among the chosen ones in 2019 and one of only 27 participating restaurants in Austria. Our guests can expect a culinary and international event of French-style delights with modern cuisine and local ingredients, inspired by France, reinterpreted and accompanied by French wines and spirits.

The Hubertus Stube

The multi-award-winning Hubertus Stube only uses the best products for its creative, ‘new Austrian’ style of cuisine. The renowned Falstaff restaurant guide awarded the Hubertus Stube at the SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof 3 forks and 93 out of 100 points for 2019. Gault Millau was equally enthusiastic and awarded the restaurant 2 toques as well as 16 out of a possible 20 points this year. So it’s not surprising that many non-resident diners flock to the à la carte Hubertus Stube restaurant for an evening of complete culinary indulgence. Fans of French wine also love the gourmet restaurant’s wine cellar. The Jagdhof’s historic vaults house around 20,000 bottles of 1,250 different wines. The British The World of Fine Wine magazine even awarded our wine list three stars – its highest accolade!
