Jagdhof’s legendary Porsche meeting

Driving at its finest: the SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof’s legendary Porsche meeting

From 10 to 17 September, the 5-star Relais & Châteaux SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof in Neustift hosts the 2017 911 Porsche week in the Stubai Valley, Tyrol. This is the perfect event for touring enthusiasts, lovers of top-ranking Alpine hotels – and of course, Porsche 911 fans.

Host Armin Pfurtscheller: ‘As a Porsche driver, you always want to extract the maximum from your beautiful machine. Drivers have plenty of opportunities to do exactly that during our legendary September Porsche meeting in Neustift, Stubai Valley!’

Guests at the Relais & Châteaux SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof’s Porsche meeting are not confined to sitting behind a steering wheel though! In addition to 911tours around Tyrol and South Tyrol, the week’s programme includes hikes, casino night, barbecue party with lots of music, good times and mountain hut fun. One of the highlights is free driving on the 7-kilometre-long Stubai Valley glacier route, which is reserved exclusively for the Jagdhof’s Porsche 911 drivers on that day.

In addition to accommodation, half board and the Jagdhof’s inclusive services, the Porsche package comprises four tours, lunch and drinks whilst out with the cars, events with live music and a casino night. Package price per person sharing a double room: 3 nights from €702, 4 nights from €908, 7 nights from €1,379 – check-in on any day of the week.

  1. Drive along the Silvretta High Alpine Road – one of the most popular scenic roads in the Alps: a distance of 22.3km, from Partenen in the Montafon (1,051m) with 34 hairpin bends via the Bielerhöhe (toll road) at 2,032m altitude to Galtür in the Paznauntal Valley.
  2. Drive through the Kaunertal and Pitztal Valleys via the glacier road that leads up to an altitude of 2,750m. En route to the glacial ice we gain 1,500m in height and enjoy extended switchbacks as well as a magnificent view of the Austria, Italy and Switzerland’s tri-border mountain region. You’ll note the various vegetation zones as we go along too.
  3. Drive along the 50km Zillertaler Höhenstrasse mountain road with views that dreams are made of. We have planned some free driving on the seven-kilometre glacier route in the Stubai Valley as the day’s highlight.
  4. Drive along the Jaufen Pass (2,094m) and the Timmelsjoch Pass (2,509m) with a stop at the Restaurant Cross Point. While we are at the Top Mountain Crosspoint, we get to visit Europe’s highest motorcycle museum, opened in April 2016, which houses Austria’s largest and most precious collection of vintage motorbikes.

The 5-star SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof, a family business for generations, offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Love of the family’s Tyrolean homeland and a deep connection to the Alpine region are tangible in every detail. The Jagdhof also offers an award-winning gourmet restaurant and a highly renowned 3,000sqm SPA. The Jagdhof is well-known for its fantastic events, and the Porsche 911 meeting is a regular fixture for many of the guests who drive in from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and many other countries. Hotelier Armin Pfurtscheller shares his passion for Porsches with the guests and looks forward to many interesting conversations with his fellow 911 fans.
