Whether rosé, burgundy or a fine drop from the Rhône – it’s delicate and sophisticated wines that are in trend this summer. But regionality and sustainability are also important, which is why Austrian wines are also popular. Alban Pfurtscheller and sommelier Albin Mayr are clued up on all the trends for 2022.

Our top wine recommendations for hot summer days

Rosé is back. For a while now, many wine connoisseurs only had rosé wine on the edges of their radar – this summer, it’s back and more popular than ever before. In addition to rosé, Rhône and Burgundy wines – both red and white – are also in vogue. Since regionality and sustainability are also becoming increasingly important, Austrian wine certainly should be found in the carafe! On our wine list at the SPA-Hotel Jagdhof, for example, we offer around 400 Austrian wine – and the list is growing!
