Tobogganing – convivial outdoor fun in the snow
Winter holiday variety: night tobogganing on the Elfer
After skiing, tobogganing is a favourite winter holiday activity and a particular pleasure during snowy winters like the one we’re having this year. Grippy, beautifully groomed and safe, the runs down to the valley offer everything a tobogganist’s heart could desire. The wide selection of toboggan runs available near the 5-star SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof makes it is easy to choose the right one for family fun, for romantic couples or for sporty and ambitious speed-freaks.
Eight of the ten runs in the Stubai Valley have been awarded seals of approval for natural toboggan runs by the state of Tyrol. With 43km of tobogganing runs overall, the Stubai Valley is the largest tobogganing arena in Tyrol. Night tobogganing is particularly popular and so atmospheric! Four of the runs in the Stubai Valley are brightly lit in the evening and the mountain huts and inns stay open for a fun evening with friends. Don’t worry if you don’t have a toboggan of your own, we can sort that out! With 14 rental points in Stubai, we can’t fail to find the right toboggan for you and your loved ones. Many of the runs are accessible by cable car or by toboggan shuttle taxi, but walking is also highly recommended – as is a stop for refreshments after your climb!
