Grawa waterfall

Located near your favourite 5-star hotel in Stubaital, the Grawa waterfall is one of the most stunning waterfalls in the entire Alpine region. With a drop height of around 180 metres, the Sulzenaubach’s waters cascade spectacularly down into the valley, creating a breathtaking sight. Easily accessible via a well-maintained hiking trail (suitable for pushchairs!), the waterfall is especially awe-inspiring in summer when glacier meltwater feeds the falls.

The WildeWasserWeg (wild water trail) in Stubaital offers a unique nature experience. This fascinating hike along the wild waters near your active hotel in Stubaital, approximately 8 kilometres in length, is a series of impressive sights showcasing the untouched beauty of Tyrolean nature.

Neustiftblick scenic nature site and suspension bridge

Located on the sunny side of the valley, the Sunnenseit’n Weg trail leads hikers over eight kilometres through the stunning mountain landscape from the middle station of Schlick 2000 to Kartnall. The spectacular highlight: the 110-metre-long suspension bridge that hangs 50 metres above the ground. Don’t let the adrenaline kick distract you from soaking up the view! You’ll find the Neustiftblick viewing platform just above the bridge.

Your route with that extra view takes you from the Froneben mid-station of the Schlick 2000 cable car over the treehouse path to Vergör and then on path no. 21 to Pfurtschnell to the suspension bridge. You’ll find the natural spectacle just above the suspension bridge.

StubaiBlick viewing platform

The panoramic trail from the Mt Kreuzjoch mountain station to the StubaiBlick viewing platform is a real must-see in Stubaital. Unusual seating – designed by Stubai artists – is dotted along the trail. Once you’ve reached the top, the rich world of Tyrolean legends is waiting to be discovered. Your gaze drifts from the Stubai mountain massif to Mt Wilder Kaiser, and the three footbridges each take you on a journey through the tales of a different mountain. Immerse yourself in myth and legend!
